About New Future Foundation Georgia

New Future Foundation of Georgia was founded as a 501c3 organization in 1969 by former Roman Catholic nun and current United Nations Ambassador Dr. Delois Blakely. The organization is registered and in good standing with the Secretary of State here in Georgia. The initial programs created were summer day camps, after school arts enrichment activities and Saturday educational enhancement classes. Today, we apply the same concept to our Georgia mission. We promote collaborations between artists, schools, and the community with the focus on assisting emerging artists and creative talents in Georgia. In the past two years, we have expanded our programming to include public events throughout the Metro Atlanta community that are available for free to the public, giving a chance for both artists seeking to promote their craft as well as giving low-income children, youth and young adults the opportunity to experience the world of the arts in a way that they otherwise would not have the financial resources to engage in a meaningful way.
